We were visiting the Haliburton Forest for a 50 Mile Trail Run and informed our host that we would be leaving at 5:00 a.m. and would be gone until late that evening. We have just enjoyed a three week holiday touring Toronto, Niagara on the lake, Algonquin area, Montreal and Quebec. We would recommend you stay at the Chalet by the lake and use it as your base if visiting the Alonguin area.
