The Delta Toronto East is located at the exit of HWY401 and Kennedy, in the eastern part of the Greater Toronto area. It is conveniently located for a road trip stopover, of for people who need to do business in this area (as well as nearby cities such as Ajax, Pickering, Oshawa). From the outside, this looks like a well-maitained... more
We stayed 2 nights at the Delta Toronto East and over all we enjoyed it. The room was large and clean. The front desk was very helpful and friendly and always greeted us when we entered the hotel. There was a large pool, a kiddie pool and a whirlpool. Unfortunately the water slide was closed when we used the pool... more
It's not the cheapest place to stay in the area but the rooms feature huge bathrooms, terry cloth bathrobes, and the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Staff is very friendly; buffet breakfast is good but pricey ($20 with tip) - lots of healthy choices though. The pool and waterslide would be a hit with families. Will be... more
This hotel has good and bad points. Firstly, it is important to know that the much better rooms are the more expensive ones in the tower section of the hotel (at the right, past reception). The cheaper rooms look out over the indoor pool area and are horrendous (I made the mistake of staying in one of these rooms a... more
I stayed at the Delta Toronto East for two nights after reserving through Priceline. I had a great experience with the front desk. For the price you pay when you book through Priceline you expect to get a basic room. The front desk staff never made me feel like anything but a regular guest and responded to my needs immediately.... more
This is no, by any stretch of the imagination a 4 star hotel. 3 at best. Why? 1. Poor customer service. When reserving the room I requested a very quiet room, as I am a light sleeper. When checking in, I once again asked for a very quiet room. What did I get - a room a few floors above... more
Booked this by accident on priceline, made a little error with my zones. Anyway, ended up winning this one for $50, which was apparently a good deal, since the rate she quoted me on check in was $199. The front desk staff was very friendly. I had made a request for a room in the tower section, with king sized... more
We booked the Zoo Getaway for my wife, son and I for the (Canadian) Thanksgiving weekend. EXPENSIVE: We paid $159/night for two nights, plus $14 parking; this price included tickets to the Toronto Zoo. The restaurant was free for our son (6yrs old), but the breakfast buffet was very expensive for my wife and I ($17 for cold buffet). CIGARETTES:... more
Our room was very spacious and clean, although a refrigerator would have been nice. We were on a high floor with a nice view. This hotel was great for my girlfriend and I, because we were visiting family nearby. This hotel is very family friendly, which is to say, couples like us may not enjoy it as much. There is... more
