I have stayed at the Edgewater motel several times in the past year. The first time was in March and I only returned because of familiarity with the location and price. But, when I stayed again in May the Edgewater had changed hands and the improvement was amazing!!
I have stayed at this motel everytime I have returned to the area, which has been a total of about 6 weeks since May 1st. The new owners are very freindly and the rooms have been completely renovated. It is hard to believe that these are the same rooms... new beds and bathrooms, fireplaces, plasma TV's.
Location was always appealing as they sit right on the lake with some beautiful veiwpoints and I have also stayed in the cabins which are great if you like to feel like you are in a small cottage in the trees.
I would advise anyone staying in the New Liskard/Haileybury area to book a room at this resort, in fact I have sent many of my family members there and everyone of us has loved it. more
