Had great vacation and fishing experance in the New Liskeard, Ont. a beautiful area. The only problem I ran into, was the camping grounds, which leaves a lot to be desired. I stayed only three night at the Beach Graden Camp Grounds in New Liskeard, although I was charged for four nights...at 25.00 Canadian dollars a night.. There are no lights at the camping site.. there is no water at the camping sites. The shower is padlocked, and cost extra (.60) to obtain the key, which is kept by the manager, located some distance from the site. Visitors to your site must pay 1.50 per person. And only be allowed one vehicle at the camp site at any time. All paying visitors must exit the camp grounds at 10:30 pm. The camp site are not well maintained, and the available kitchen we had access to, has no stove or hot water. This is certainly a camp gound to avoid if your planning a camping trip to this area.. more
