High Country House is a lovely place. The couple who run it are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the garden is very relaxing and pretty and the setting is beautifully peaceful. Though we appreciate all guests reviews we feel we must respond to this one.When decorating this room we thought long and hard regarding a door to the bathroom from the bedroom and decided having one would detract from the Zen feel of the rooms. The bathroom is a totally seperate room from the bedroom and the toilet is tucked away...
As Londoners we were somewhat apprehensive when our daughter told us she was getting married in the garden of a B & B in Bragg Creek. But we needn't have worried. After 2 weeks touring B.C. we spent our last night here before flying home to the U.K.and only wished we could have stayed longer.It was probably the nicest place we stayed on our trip and the secluded woodland setting is just wonderful.
