Thie motel was "top of the line". Had stayed in Haines Junction numerous times before, but this was by far the best motel experience. Room was very tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. Tried to call for reservations earler in the day, but office does not open until 3. It was not a problem, since there were plenty of rooms available,... More

I say this is the place to stay if you are anywhere near here when you need a hotel. They exceeded my expectations (and I have High expectations for a clean well kept place). I will always book my room here when I am traveling in the Yukon. This place is so nice I would stay a few extra nights... More

I live in Arizona, have a summer place in Alaska....been driving up for twenty years. I dont usually stay in Haines Jct, but had occasion to last year. I stopped at The Raven and inquired about availability for an overnight. The women I spoke to was rude and obnoxious...sharply saying nothing was available. I am a senior VP with a... More

It's a very nice, modern, and clean place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and even though they don't allow pets they made an exemption and let us bring our budgies (my husband had forgotten to mention we had those when he booked the room). That was very nice of them; they could have just sent us... More

I have stayed in many small motels, hotels and inns in 40 years of traveling in the north. The Raven Hotel is in the very top tier in my experience. Raven would be an excellent place to stay anywhere in North America; in Alaska and Yukon it is outstanding and far beyond the norm. The very nice furnishings immediately caught... More

The hotel was the best available and offers good clean rooms. The office was closed when we got there at about 2pm and we had to hang around till 4pm. Charging for the internet was silly, this should just be included. A real shame their restaurant is not open as there is not much choice in the town. Good breakfast... More

Thank you very much for your comments as it is always great to hear from our clients. We apologize that our front desk opens at 3pm daily, but this allows us to have all of our rooms cleaned and ready for check-in. As for charging for the internet, we find this necessary as our internet overage charges in The Yukon... More

We stayed in two different places in Haines Junction - on the way up the highway and on the way down, and The Raven Hotel was definitely the best. Our room was quiet and comfortable, we would have appreciated a way to make a drink at night, but that was our only criticism. The breakfast was excellent. If you are... More

This was our first trip to the Yukon and it was a total revalation. Scenery was spectacular, air was fresh, people were exceptionally welcoming and it never gets dark (in summer at least!). Haines Junction is a convenient place for Kluane exploration, as well as drives north and south. Don't miss the museum at Burwash Landing, it is excellent. And... More

Still probably the best hotel in Haines Junction, but they have lost their chef and closed their dining room for the season. And they will probably be losing one of their Canada Select stars next rating. Nice rooms, clean and big. Excellent continental breakfast with great baked goods. Friendly family runs the place. No coffee maker in room. All the... More

Thank you so much for your comments! It really is too bad that we have lost our Chef! He, as well as the dining room, are definitely missed! I don't believe that Canada Select is any longer a "rating" company and our past rating was always on the hotel only - not the dining room. Thank you for your comment... More

The Raven is a very nice pleasant lodging establishment on the Alaska Highway. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and quiet and they are nicely laid out. We liked the dispensers for shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Wi-fi costs $5 extra, but for us it was well worth it. The rooms are not air conditioned,... More
