We stayed at the Coach House in September 2002 and regarded it as a high point of our vacation. The room was elegantly decorated, the location probably the best on the island. We couldn't agree more!! So we did exactly what you suggested....We purchased the property two years ago, renovated it and just recently re-launched as Oyster Bay Oceanfront B&B last October. We hope you will have the opportunity to visit again and stay at this newly improved luxury B&B!!
This Bed and Breakfast has the most admirable location in Mayne Island that we could find. The rooms are nice but a bit cluttered. The archictecture has HUGE potential but doesn't live up to it's name or match the quality of the location. This large home needs some renovation and much tweaking to live up the promise of the photos... more
