We had a two night stay here after arriving on the ferry from Prince Rupert. Ahead of our stay the proprietors had kindly told us about the transport that is available from the ferry into town that drops you at their door called "Port Hardy Transportation* at a cost of $6.50 per person which was great when you arrive 10.30pm in a strange town and are not sure where to go. The lady of the house was waiting for us at 11pm and settled us in and when we asked about ordering a taxi the next morning to take us to the airport to pick up a hire car she straightaway offered to take us herself before going to work. The room was large with small dining table for the continental breakfast that is put in your fridge for you to have as you like which included a home baked loaf. The day that we left we said we would be leaving early and they kindly put items in our fridge for a picnic breakfast which included hard boiled eggs, yogurts and even a tub of strawberries.
