We ended up here because there was literally no other place with a room available, even though it was off-season. This is one of the dumpiest places that I have ever stayed, and it was outrageously expensive as well. Large hotel on the outskirts of Port Hardy, 5 minutes from the centre of a very small town. Check in person was not overly friendly and when we were there, the lift was out of order.
