Was sent on yet another excursion across the country!
Arrived at the guest house during a Sunday evening and was greeted by Jim, Jan's son, as she was at the train station collecting a guest. Was shown to my room and also given a run-down of the facilities, etc.
My room was a single on the first floor and was quite small but for a duration of only a few days stay, was acceptable. Had drawers and a hanger stand as well as a TV with freeview and DVD player (a selection of DVDs were freely available to borrow in the guest lounge). The bath/shower room was on the first floor and was shared with the other guests of the guest house, however there were no sign of any embarrassing 'traffic jams' in the corridor during my stay.
The morning breakfast was a selection of cereals and/or cooked; with bacon, sausage, egg, etc., though being a vegetarian didn't have all of the options offered!
