I stayed 2 nights to visit family, and thoroughly enjoyed it. My room was small but contained everything I needed (except a radio), very comfortable bed, neat shower room, TV, a little fridge, iron, hairdryer etc. Breakfast was excellent, service prompt and smiling without being too chatty first thing in the morning. I stayed 2 nights in the Base, while visiting family in Bristol. I loved the room, very stylish and comfortable. Great breakfast, very well cooked and friendly service. I will stay here in the future when I am back in Bristol. more

Such a change from my usual experience of bed and breakfasts. Clean and comfortable with friendly welcoming service, and most importantly, fantastic breakfasts!! Cooked in the room with you while you wait and just the ticket to set you up for the day. I'd definitely visit again. Where else can you choose to have samosa's with your fry up?! more

We had a very clean room, comfortable bed, and good breakfasts. Highly recommended for an affordable, comfortable stay. The only downside: it's a good way from the town center so bus or car is probably needed (we had a car so it was perfect). more

Went over to Bristol for a few days and The Base certainly added to the enjoyable and relaxing time I spent in Bristol.The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them,the room was very comfortab;le and the breakfast each morning was very filling and satisfying.Can certainly recoomend this hotel. more

We stayed at this B&B for one night while visiting family in Bristol. We chose it based on good reviews on TripAdvisor and it didnt disappoint. Although its not particularly promising from the outside, its on a main road, with motor supplies shops nearby, that didnt really matter. We parked easily on the forecourt and were met at the door.... more

Brilliant place to stay apart from the road noise at the front of the house. It's very close to a busy road and the window is only single glazed. If you are bothered by traffic noise be sure to choose a room at the rear. We're told they are much quieter. We would definitely stay again. It would be better... more
