I cannot understand negative reviews for this great hotel. I stayed here for one night on 27 Jan (going to a show at Colston Hall). Great location, friendly staff & great value for money, more of a leasure stay hotel, those bussiness types who want room service etc should try Novotel up the road! On check in the staff were... more

Good hotel. Nice, comfortable bedrooms. Secured parking. Breakfast was good and is included on the rate. Friendly front desk staff. Internet access is expensive: 10 pounds per day! more

stayed for one night in December. Bog standard budget hotel. Plus points- clean room and bathroom. Minuse points- breakfast not up to much. Toasting machine either barely toasted the bread or burnt it. more

We arrived about 9pm grabbed the last parking space in the designated car park though you can park at NCP but it costs more. Room was reasomnable. A few bulbs had gone in lamps but nohing major. Overall the room is comfortable, however the pub next door can be very loud up to 1am. Nonetheless the price is not too bad for the two nights we stayed. more

My husband and I stayed her twice as we had to attend a family funeral, etc. The hotel is quite attractive inside. It is in a busy location so it is more advisable to get rear facing rooms if possible. The rooms are clean and large and they have very large shower cubicles. Tea and coffee making facilities and tv... more

On reading the reviews about this hotel I was very suprised by how negative they were and felt like I should share my experience. I stayed here for one night with my husband after 4 nights in a wet tent at Glastonbury (and perhaps thats why it seemed so great??). We had an easy check in and reception was a... more

In July we booked a room at the Holiday Inn express, we were going to the airport in the morning and hoped to get a bit extra sleep by travelling the evening before and staying in a nearby hotel, Unfortunately things did not go to plan. a party started accross the corridor at 1am and continued until 6.45am no matter... more

My friend and I stayed for one night at this hotel in a twin room, where smoking was permitted. Our room was small and it felt really cramped, but it was clean. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well, but I have to say that the loo roll was like sandpaper - definitely the cheapest you could ever... more

I stayed at this hotel recently for 2 nights on business. I knew it wasn't going to be a 5 star experience as none of these Express Holiday Inns are but this is the worst I have stayed at, for the following reasons: It is right on a busy road. It is right next to a rather loud and down... more
