I stayed at this hotel with my husband for two nights. I was very impressed with the hotel, it is set in lovely grounds. The staff were very welcoming and professional. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. We dinned in the restaurant on our first evening and the food was delicious. Portions were a bit too small for... more

I was surprised when we arrived that the hotel did look a bit shabby, and more like 'motel' blocks attached to old house. The bed was very small but everything in the room was spotless and it was quiet. Bar staff were helpful and bar food and drink were good and breakfast was fine with attentive staff. The leisure centre... more

I used a recent offer from the Metro newspaper and stayed for £40.18 Bed and Breakfast while on business, I consider this was £40 too much. Yes hotel is set in some lovely ground but the inside is dated and not what I would expect from a “Hotel Brand “. Reception, the receptionist did not make any eye contact, very... more

The staff do their best but they must lose heart in this outdated and overpriced hotel. The full breakfast cost £15. It was luke warm. The dinner menu is written in a very exotic way but both meals were over cooked and over priced. The pate and cheese board must have been served straight from the fridge. Both so cold... more

Stayed after christmas party both last year and again this year. Rooms are v clean and comfy. The grounds are beautiful. We only live a few miles away but staying takes all the hassle out of who's turn to drive or taxis etc making it a nice treat especially in the winter when you can use the nice warm spa... more

This is a nice hotel in the country with many things to see and do around. The internet is expensive and slow. There is no wifi, so if you''ve got business to do.. beware. Had to connect via a cable, which doesn't reach to the desk.. so bring an extension, you might need it. You can stay in a cheap... more

Stayed here with my family for my niece's christening. The hotel is set in some lovely grounds and someone has had some great ideas along the way as there's some nice touches (clean room, bathrobes with nut bars, tea and coffee machine and a "Sunday lie in" with breakfast available until 12 noon on Sundays - more on that below)... more

I was rather disappointed by the whole experience. We were given poor directions to our room , which was up three flights of stairs through unmarked doors, along corridors desperately in need of fresh paint. We weren't offered any help with our bags. The room itself was well designed but tiny. The bed was a very small double. We had... more

Stayed at this hotel for one night on Saturday 11th October. My wife and I booked a suite and it cost us £190.00 which included breakfast and dinner in their Kiln Restaurant. Here is the sequence of events during our stay: > There was a distinct smell of smoke in our room upon arrival. > The tea tray had not... more

Management response from

I am afraid this review appears to be for the wrong hotel as we are ten miles from Bristol Temple Meads not nearby and our restaurant is not called the 'Kiln Restaurant'. I am sorry you had such a bad experience but I can assure you it was not at this hotel.

Just back from a two-night stay at the Ramada Grange. The point that will stay with us was the quality of service - restaurant team in particular, but also the bar staff and receptionists; all on the ball and friendly. We had a couple of absolutely fantastic meals - the cheese and biscuits alone was enough for a main course!... more
