Stayed here for 3 nights - Friday, Saturday and Sunday; The hotel has a lovely spacious feel about it from the reception area and check in was smooth considering there were 9 of us checking in to 4 rooms. The rooms were pleasant, although a little noisey at night - secondary glazing as opposed to double glazing, which does not... more

An excellent hotel that does everything you expect. Clean, comfortable with pleasant and excellent service. Breakfast was good as was the food during the conference we attended. The location is ideal so when we had a break we were able to nip around the corner to a great new shopping centre. also near a lovely park which leads to the... more

While the Royal Marriott is all about olde English charm with wood fires and busts of Roman emperors in the lobby, the City Centre Marriott is supposed to be a more business focussed hotel with conference facilities and close proximity to Temple Meade station (as well as the city centre shops) etc etc. Only it's not that joined up. We... more

I stayed at the Marriott as part of a conference, then stayed on for the weekend. Both parts of the stay were excellent. The location is convenient for Temple Meads Station and for the city centre, being within 10-15 minutes walk of both. The immediate environs are a new shopping centre, containing mainly fashion shops, although there are also cafes,... more

I was spending the weekend in Bristol with my family and chose the Marriott. Positives Perfectly located for the city centre and train station. Rooms have 2 double beds, great if you've got kids. The pool was great, not massive but perfect for a relaxing dip. Rooms clean and well appointed. Downside It's a large, soulless corporate hotel. Lacks charm... more

Having knowledge of the industry I feel it is important to give feedback on areas of concern. From arrival at the front desk, failure to let us know on telephonic booking about additional parking costs/arrangements. Lifts that take 15 to 20 mins to arrive as one is out of order and a general sense of being a hassle to staff... more

We stayed here to break a long train journey, and it was a fantastic hotel. Our family room was very clean and comfortable with two large beds, bath and shower, mini bar and even a small balcony. It was quiet and well situated and our room was very spacious. We had breakfast in our room and used the hotel pool... more
