Just enjoyed a two night weekend break here, our first time in Bristol. The location couldn't be better, on the doorstep of St Nicholas market. We were spoilt for choice with the selection of food stalls there on saturday afternoon. Location is central so only 10 min walk from the train station but also all the mail tourist points of... Really lovely boutique-style hotel tucked away in the centre of Bristol. Friendly staff, well appointed rooms with gorgeous, high-quality fixtures & fittings and a lovely snug feel. Best of all - a perfect location. We walked up from Temple Meads in no time and all the places we wanted to go were in easy reach. Would wholeheartedly recommend for a... More

I stayed here recently and was impressed. The room was clean, comfortable and warm - even if it was two beds joined together. The bathroom was a little, small, but well appointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming and breakfast was lovely. It is about a ten minute walk into the centre of town, but is close to the Circus... More

Converted warehouse-type chic hotel/guesthouse. Wonderful position for centre of town/theatres and in the midst of a working market although we didn't hear any early morning noise. Rooms are smallish and ideally for short stays but the en-suite shower etc was large in comparison. If you are driving be careful as the guesthouse is in the market and you have to... More

Stayed for one night at Brooks, and had a lovely stay. Room was immaculate and very comfortable with every amenity needed for a city break. Location is perfect, couldn't be more central. Parking was easy, staff very friendly and breakfast was swift, hot, plentiful and a bit different from the standard fare. If you're looking for a shopping or culture... More

We stayed here 22/12/11 as although we have friends in Bristol, we also have a relatively new addition (5 month old bundle of baby boy). Considering we were Xmas shopping, visiting friends and taking our little one away for the first time, Brooks Guest House made it a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Beds - wow! I'm now looking at... More
