We had 2 rooms in this marvellous place, it was like home away from home. Sean kindly greated us but after that his own job called him away so my husband and I along with my parents-in-law were left in the very friendly and capable hands of Anne. Before going to Bristol we had a number of places which we... more

We stayed here on a trip to see the Banksy exhibition. We stayed in the self contained basement room which was very clean and comfortable with my favourite Molten Brown soap in the bathroom. As the owners were away, instead of having breakfast made for us, they left us items in the fridge to make our own. There was plenty... more

After hearing terrible reports from fellow conference attendees of Clifton hotels I was pleased to stay for three nights at Rosebery House, a 15-minute sometimes steep walk away from the centre of Clifton. Sean made delicious breakfasts, and I was pleased to find that the other guests also were Australian. more

Staying in Bristol last Thursday, we experienced a beautiful reception from the caring B & B operator, Sean. Perhaps our only concern was the initial concern of being at the correct house. Having provided lots of information about Bristol (for us the uninitiated tourists of the area) he was able to give us relevant information for beautiful meals and historic... more

In June this year this property was advertised on its website as 4 diamonds ETC award along with a Which? Good Hotel award. It transpired the property had not been inspected by either ETC or Which? for the past 5 years. Whilst the welcome from one of the owners was warm the property is basic to say the least. At... more

This B&B is within walking distance of Clifton village and a short drive to Bristol city centre. There is no signboard outside but finding it was relatively easy. The rooms were clean and spacious, as were the bathrooms. Interior decoration was tasteful, in keeping with a modernised period home. We were well received by the proprietor who was friendly and... more

One of the best places I have stayed in. The house is set in a georgian crescent and is full of character. The breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely dining room on the first floor of the house, The owners were really welcoming and knowledgable about Bristol. The centre of Clifton village is only a short walk from... more

I stayed here for two nights and was very impressed by this B&B. A couple of things threw me - like the fact that there are no signs outside that it IS a B&B, and the on-street parking - but I could not have been happier with my room and with the service/care extended by the owners. My room was... more

A genuine smile from our host Shaun and a welcome pot of tea along with very tasty biscuits were offered in the lovely flower scented Georgian dining room. Our rooms had been beautifully presented with wonderful attention to detail (Anne's domain I'm told!) including a pretty posy of fresh flowers by the bed, a variety of teas/ coffees, fluffy white... more

We bookended a 2-week stay in England with several nights in this B & B. It was a delightful introduction to Bristol. The owners truly care about their guests, provide wonderfully accurate local maps and information, and serve delicious organic breakfasts. The spotless room had stylish furnishings and a very comfortable mattress. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, and being able... more
