The Grange is a beautiful hotel in a lovely setting and perfect for our precious weekend away. The room was quiet, clean and spacious and we found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. On our second night we had a very good meal in the Acorn Restaurant although the dining room was a little too bright for a romantic... more

I hve to say my room was shabby but more or less OK but the food was truly awful. To cap it all others staying at this "hotel" revealed they were paying only £35 per night B&B which is virtually half what I paid. Grumpy staff and virtually inedible food would put this price closer to the mark. And extra... more

We stayed in an excellent re-furbished room. Our only problem was the broadband connection at £5.99 per hour when it should be free when it is hard wired in every room. The BT Openzone WiFi in the lounge was also a rip off at £4.99 per hour. This hotel is in a lovely setting and we were there for a... more

I have recently stayed at the Grange hotel and was very impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. All the staff were extremely helpful and the food and service was excellent. I was shocked to read some other comments the Grange had previously received but was aware that the hotel is under new ownership and has had a refurbishment. more

Me and my girlfriend we looking for a weekend away and we could't decide on Bristol or Bath. We found The Grange Hotel on google and it was perfect. Located directly between the two we were able to spend a day in Bath and a day in Bristol. The little town Keynsham is very pleasent with lots of "local" style... more

Booked this hotel at the last minute for Valentines weekend and didn't have chance to read reviews!! It was ok, but the rooms are very dated and shabby and were definately not worth the amount we were paying for Valentines weekend. I'm not sure how it got a 4* rating, and yes it may be "set among 18 acres of... more

We booked this via a special deal with a newspaper, an overnight stay with 3 course meal and wine included with breakfast the next morning. Room was spacious and warm, Complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Grounds to the hotel were large and would have liked longer to walk around the same. Meal was delicious. The restaurant was very busy... more

Don't be fooled by the photos. I assume there must be a few rooms in the main building BUT the majority of the accommodation is in a bungalow type holiday camp. The rooms are tiny, dark and dirty BUT great if you want to hear the conversation going on next door. I could hear every single word my neighbour said!... more

The overall impression I got from a weekend at the Grange Hotel was one of shabbiness. I couldn't fault the friendliness of the staff, and the breakfast was very nice, but the place would benefit from a good lick of paint inside and out. It also wouldn't do any harm to knock out a few walls and join some of... more
