We stayed at Marsh House which is about 50 metres from the quayside in Bristol. and you pass two late supermarkets to get there, just up the hill is the Old Market, The Arnolfini gallery is 100 metres away and the main shopping centre a ten minute stroll so the location could not be bettered for a city centre stay.
The apartment was new. It had a large double bedroom, lounge with American Kitchen with oven and hob, LCD TV, DVD player, dining table and cutlery for four. Two leather (almost) sofas in the lounge area, a tiny balcony (forget it). There was alaundry area with a washer dryer. Good sized bathroom. Everything was to an extremely high standard which made it excellent value. Two quibbles though. There was a duvet with a tog rating of 13.5 which was unsuitable for August and the bedroom had white slatted vertical blinds which made sleeping after 6.30a.m. impossible.
