Can't normally say to much about a travelodge as they are pretty much all the same but I must say although there isn't a restaurant or bar here it was spotless and staff were very happy to see you and help in any way possible . Well done

Decided to spend a night in Portishead as we had experienced a great night previously in the bars around the Marina.
Made sense to stay in the hotel, which was a 100 yard walk from the bars and restaurant.
We were given a warm welcome, found the room to be clean and surprisingly spacious and close to where we spent...

Stayed here for 5 days in April 2013 . Hotel is barely a couple of years old , clean tidy and functional . Handily it's in an area with a couple of cafes , restaurants and if you're majorly on a budget a Lidl . Rooms were airy and staff were courteous . Good value all round .
One night stay in March. Clean and tidy room, bathroom clean. Functional to a tee, though shower was a touch cramped. Reception polite and helpful, iron and hairdryer available on request. The Lidl next door is handy for stocking up on snacks and wine as there is little to nothing on offer by way of provisions besides tea making facility....

Good location and easy access from main road. The hotel is clean and tidy if a little basic, however bed was comfy and room was quiet which is a bonus. The price was good and you get what you pay for. Ideal stop over but would rather more luxury if was with family etc.
Stayed here for one night, less than £30 for a friday night so great value. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Reception staff friendly and got an extra pillow no problem (sometimes not possible!). Car parking is in adjoining supermarket car park but no problem. Hotel in good location for evening out at local restaurant/bars. Would recommend!
very new, clean and within easy reach of small town. never visited town before always bypassed on M5 but seems to be being rejuvenated with new housing shops etc plus a marina - very pleasantly surprised. Both members of staff encountered very friendly and offered advice of where to eat.
On a recent visit to Bristol, we booked in at the Portishead Travelodge. Although the room was very basic, everything was spotlessly clean and unlike some travelodges I've stayed in, everything seemed to work!
Extra towels and pillows were readily available when requested from reception.
On check in, we were asked if we wanted any recommendations for places to eat....

Have stayed here on a number of ocassions since it opened last year. Still not being used a great deal and therefore the rates are great. Usual basic but clean and tidy rooms. Aldi underneath and Waitrose next door which is handy. Plenty of parking in bays specially allocated to the Travelodge. Also there are places to eat across the...

We were flying out of Bristol early the following morning so we just wanted a cheap crash pad. At £19 it was a bargain, room was very clean, bed comfy and plenty of space had the sofa bed needed unfolding. Quick check in/out and fulfilled exactly what I wanted for the price. Glad to see unlike a lot of Travelodge's...
