Spent the week end in Bristol, and was staying at the Ibis Centre. Hotel has the best location ever! it took us 2 minutes to reach SS Great Britain, and the town's five minutes away. Beds are comfy, staff is great, would definately come back. more

Stayed one night only..never again. The room was shabby(marks on wall and holes in curtains) and the climate control does not cool the room which was warm and stuffy. The window opens but there was a vent from the cellars outside and it was so noisy and it ran constantly. Staff did try to resolve the problem but where unsuccessful.... more

When staying in a chain such as Ibis, you know what you are going to get before you stay. This hotel is typical of this French chain, with the strange "all in one" moulded plastic bathroom, thin carpets and incredibly uncomfortable bed. Breakfast - pay extra - is a non descript continental affair, with quite horrible fruit juice and coffee.... more

Room was clean but the carpets etc were quite tired. I quite like the compact bathroom. Staff were at best unhelpful (more interested in finishing their chats with each other than serving you) and at worst rude and grumpy. But by far the worst thing was, we didn't realise when we booked in that the place directly opposite our window... more

We stayed for 3 nights and got a very good deal after booking more than 30 days in advance (Ibis offers a discount for this.) The hotel is in a pleasant location, and there isn't much of interest that can't be reached by a brief walk. I prefer a slightly firmer bed so it was a good sleep for me.... more

Having tried and failed to stay at Clifton Serviced apartments (see other review - not recommended) we ended up at the Ibis. Plus points - professional day staff, great location. Minus points - guest who run up and down the corridor at 3.45am knocking on doors........for an HOUR! Called the desk but not convinced that security ever responded. That being... more

Was booked in for 3 nights stayed 1. They got my reservation wrong & it was my fault !!. Room was grubby, wall was stained, bed was hard, towels were small - but the view over the building site was fantastic. If you have to stay (and I have stayed in better in rural India), then at least check it... more

Had two nights booked here to come down with some friends for a birthday weekend away. We are all young, 22-23 and found this hotel clean and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff, who totally stuck to their service guarantee. Under the guarantee if you report a problem they cannot solve in 15 minutes, you spend the night as their... more

Cheaper than a Travelodge, with nicer (actually fairly cool) rooms. This one is in a really excellent location if you want to explore Bristol or go to a gig. more

I've been to many Ibis hotels before so I am not surprised when I turn up to find the rooms looking exactly like they do everywhere else in the world! They must be flat packed. Ibis Bristol Centre is central, making it easy to get around the waterfront to all the attractions, restaurants and pubs in no time. However, this... more
