Cheaper than a Travelodge, with nicer (actually fairly cool) rooms. This one is in a really excellent location if you want to explore Bristol or go to a gig. more

I've been to many Ibis hotels before so I am not surprised when I turn up to find the rooms looking exactly like they do everywhere else in the world! They must be flat packed. Ibis Bristol Centre is central, making it easy to get around the waterfront to all the attractions, restaurants and pubs in no time. However, this... more

After reading some of the reviews I was somewhat apprehensive about our 1 night stay. However, on arriving at the hotel I was relieved to find a clean, stylish lobby with a very helpful member of staff checking us in. On arrival at our room, I was pleasantly surprised to find a neat, tidy sized room with the amenities you... more

We stayed at the Ibis on a saturday night, all we wanted was somewhere clean and central to rest our heads after a friends birthday and we couldn't have been happier. The hotel is new, and has that 'clean' new feeling. The beds were comfortable and large, the bathrooms were en suite - (possibly pre fab )- and perfect. The... more

Like many others reviewing this hotel, on first impression it looked ok. Guys on reception were pleasant enough. When I arrived in my room my initial reaction was laughing at the "pod" bathroom, which can only be described as a cabin bathroom you get on a ferry! All plastic and obviously bolted in to the basic square rooms. I have... more

Had booked a room for 2 nights as I was working in Bristol and the Harbourside area is really convenient. My first impressions on seeing the hotel were good. I had to wait around in the bar until the receptionists 'got things sorted' and could check me in. I was in a room on the 5th floor. There was a... more

Stayed for two nights with friends to attend a christening in Bristol. On the plus side, the rooms were small but clean and adequate, and the beds were firm and extremely comfortable. Only one pillow per bed and one towel per person, but reception were happy to supply extras on request. However, the extra towels disappeared after the first night,... more

The check in was relatively good although a queue did start to build behind us, with only two people to check guests in. We were gievn our keys and proceeded to our room. Not half an hour later the stale smell in the room got too much for us and we had to call reception to ask to be moved... more

Stayed here for one night in September...and one night was more than enough! The hotel is located in the noisy harbourside area, where one can enjoy the sound of drunken morons shouting & screaming well into the small hours from the nearby bars. My room (115) was unclean and smelly. The curtain (which contained small holes, as another reviewer mentioned)... more

In my years of travelling Ibis are about as reliable a hotel group you can get. You know what you're going to get - clean, usually well-located, good value hotels. And this Ibis was no exception with one of the more modern fit outs (flat screen telly et al) and funky pod bathroom with a cracking shower. I am always... more
