I stayed at the Mercure Holland House Hotel on business. My room was nice and clean. Breakfast was nice and there was a good selection, full English, continental, cereals, fruit salads etc. If there are a lot of people you might have to wait for them to bring a new tray with stuff, like beans or sausages. The gym is adequate... more

I stayed at this hotel during busy week in october and really enjoyed my stay. Because I am from different country and I travelled on my own I appriciated warm welcome at the hotel and a little bit of personal touch which made me felt not so "lonely". I also enjoyed swimming after hard day at work(pool open 24-7). Bedroom... more

My young children & I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in the family room (which we got at a discounted rate as a late internet booking). We had booked for 1 night but liked the room so much we booked another night (which we were given for the same discounted rate). I thought the staff were... more

Well where do I start. I stayed at this hotel for business reasons. The room I was given was stone cold and overlooked the spectacularly large carpark. Unfortunately at 2am after shivering all evening I finally called housekeeping. The room it seems had a faulty airconditioning unit and I was offered an extra blanket, not bad for a room costing... more

This hotel is a very good four star hotel, clean with modern pleasant rooms in a convenient location and within easy walking distance of the centre and the Bristol Hippodrome. It was also a pleasure to be treated by friendly and helpful staff who were happy to go the extra mile. The hotel also has its own secure car park, however... more

Stayed for 4 nights at the end of Sept, we could not quite put our finger on what it was lacking , then my wife said It is a hotel that you stop over rather than a hotel you stay in. more

Stayed here for three days in mid-week. Hotel is located about 10 minutes of walk from the Temple meads station, in nice and mostly quiet area. The room was big enough, cosy, modern and clean. The internet is not included in price, but not too expensive (9 pounds per day) and fast enough. The breakfast is good, staff efficient and... more

Well, I only ended up there because I was in town Saturday evening and everything else in Bristol and Bath was booked full. I had to take executive suite, because again most of this hotel was booked too. What can I say? It sure as hell was executive. I didn't use much of anything in it, but the fact that... more

We stayed at the Mercure Holland House Bristol as a one night chill out for myself and my wife. On arrival we were greeted at reception by smiling staff who booked us in quickly and efficiently. We would like to mention Zowie on reception who was fantastic and is a credit to the hotel. Thankyou for everything Zowie. We then... more

Not my first choice of hotel but employer booked so stuck with it, albeit at a good rate. Not at all central to anything - about 10 min walk to town or the rail station, 5 min to start of harbourside. Not a pleasant area late at night - the groups of down and outs, drunk and drugged create an... more
