We stayed at the Cabury House Hotel for their annual Valentine's Ball. The hotel has a great decor but seems to lack organisation in the lounge although elsewhere the service was excellent. We had a great night and the 3 course meal was very good. We stayed in an executive room to which we upgraded and to be honest I... more

Syle-wise most people will either love or hate this place - a fusion of an old building housing the function rooms and a very modern extension housing the accomodation. We hated it! Inside the rooms the same fusion is evident - large gilt mirrors and repro antique chairs mixed with a 4ft modern painting of a cow's face looming over... more

Not a place to relax at the weekends. After a very cold welcome from one of the reception staff we arrived at our room where we soon discovered that the bed had not been made properly, these were promptly addressed when we contacted the reception. Additionally, there was paint crumbling off the fittings in the bathroom and no wireless Internet... more

As a professional meeting planner I stayed in this hotel, on business, for one night in September. The hotel is very clean, modern and funky. I had a good size room with an area to work and sofa. Room service was very quick and the location and views are great. The only negative comment would be that the receptionist supervisor... more

We stayed at the Cadbury House Hotel for just one night, and it was a real pleasure. The whole hotel is tastefully decorated, with funky furniture. The room wasn't the biggest, but cleverly laid out and beautifully designed. The spa facilities were top class, and quiet too. A must visit if you're staying at the hotel. The night we stayed... more

Booked a room late August via lastminute, got room only for £68 for the night - a bargain. Manchester City football team were checking out as we checked in (4.30pm), and our room wasn't ready, so we were upgraded to an available exec room with a view. Excellent room, 'boutique chic' dark -ish - bar for the snowy white linen.... more

Booked at last minute, secured the last room of the hotel, which was on the 4th floor. The room was very well decorated, huge mirrors, great photos, flat-screen TV but slightly dark; not quite sue what it would be like in the winter. The bed was fantastic - king size and very comfortable - and the bathroom was very smart;... more

Myself and my wife went to a wedding here on May 27th and stayed the night. On first impression it was a very nice, stylish looking place, albeit with an unfinished, muddy car park resembling a building site. We arrived at 3:30pm to be told our room wasn't ready, despite them having a check-out time of 11am and a check-in... more
