We attended a wedding in February 2009 , everything went to plan attentive but not over powering staff always on hand to ensure smooth running. Arrival was great, staff made us so welcome. Check in was a breeze and within a few minutes we were in the bar. Hotel was comfortable, clean and really friendly. We held our inaugural golf day, presentations & dinner at this hotel. Although this is a good location and has the promise of some nice facilities, the actual room I was given was very poor indeed. Dear Guest I was disapointed to read your comments on Trip advisor. WiFi is currently something that we are looking into as a group, and hopefully will be fully available by the end of this year. Don't pay the stupid city centre prices when this hotel has it all. Great modern hotel, fully equipped with a stunning golf course. We had our wedding at the hotel this weekend. Myself and my family stayed the night before the wedding and my husband and some of his family where also there the night of the wedding. Just back from 2 day conference at Menzies Cambridge Hotel and Golf Club. Lovely conference room and exceptionally helpful staff (particularly Samantha). Food good and bedrooms very comfortable. Will use again more
