We booked the Acorn via the helpful tourist information office. Cambridge was very busy and there were few rooms available so we didn't check Tripadvisor first. Not the most welcoming of bed and breakfasts. My "room" couldn't fit me and my suitcase. The curtains were fixed (I couldn't close them), and with the hotel sign lit up all night outside my window it wasn't very pleasant and didn't make sleeping easy.
