I will not waste a lot of my or your time on this review. I can confirm all the bad reviews the Lamb had in the past. We stayed there for one night in early May and will not return unless the whole place had a serious makeover. And that includes the kitchen. Stay at the Lamb if you must... more

Fawlty Lamb in more ways than one. On our first night, I and my sister-in-law both had roast leg of lamb at dinner. Stayed here last night on business. Arrived very tired, found the receptionist friendly. As far as I am concerned, this hotel is OK. The room was nice, the shower decent and the bed very comfortable. We had a drink in the bar downstairs and a particularly nice meal in the Thai restaurant opposite. Overall, a pleasant experience. more

Stayed at the Lamb for 2 nights on business. The hotel is situated right in the town centre amongst the shops/cafes/restaurants and within spitting distance of the magnificent Ely Cathedral.
