Despite varied reviews we booked a room in the hotel due to the location next to the cathedral. Went to Ely for the eel festival. Lovely place and possibly my favourite cathedral.
Stayed at lamb inn. Staff lovely apart from female receptionist who appeared to be having a bad day. Rooms quite large and clean.
Restaurant very good especially breakfast. Nice bar for last drinks.
