What can I say?............Excellent should cover it. Friendly staff, delicious food, lovely clean room, beautifully appointed, with large power shower. The perfect base to return to each evening to relax with friends and enjoy a nice meal. I stupidly left my passport in my room and Steve very kindly found it and posted it to me without delay (having returned... More

I spent 4 nights at the Harbour Lights in Alderney, A good clean hotel and only a 5 minute walk either to the harbour or the centre of St Anne. Dining in the hotel was good and reasonably priced, Breakfast was brilliant and very large portions. Steve the owner helped make this a great stay and i will definately be... More

I have just spent three nights at the Harbour Lights Hotel. What a fabulous hotel and time I had. The room was cleaned every day, tea or coffee was at had by the bedside and replenished each morning. My luggage was delayed in Southampton and Steve, the owner, on hearing of this, went out of his way to make sure... More

We stayed for only a couple of days in Alderney but the Harbor Lights Hotel was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite new and it shows. The bedrooms are as other people have mentioned a bit small but they are fine for what you want i.e. to sleep in. I would not let this put... More

Nice clean, well furnished hotel with friendly staff and very impressive food cooked by a fab French chef. 5 minute walk from beach and 10 minute walk from high street (uphill on way there). Rooms, although not big, were clean with nice wooden furniture, tea and coffee making facilities and nice tvs.

Had a very pleasant few days .The food is excellent and it is very quiet at night which is great. Would recommend the kippers and the haddock. My husband also raved about the poached eggs! They also now run an off license which cam in useful.

Great value hotel with an excellent chef. Evening meals at the hotel were a highlight, with delicious fresh flavours and beautifully presented. Breakfast was generous, great choice and well cooked. Our room had a view towards Braye Bay and Fort Albert and although not spacious was comfortable and the ensuite spotless (I was surprised at a recent review citing inadequate... More

We chose this hotel based on the other reviews. It is in a great position on a quiet road and the atmosphere is very laid back. The catering staff were always very helpful and attentive both at breakfast and on the couple of occasions we had an evening meal at the hotel. What lets this hotel down is the cleaning... More
