We had a week staying with Jenny and it could not have been better. Jenny was a very helpful host, always willing to recommend the local resturants and sites to go and see. The Hotel is perfectly situated at the bottom of Victoria Street, local to the resturants in St Annes and only a short walk down to the Harbour.... more
Having read some other reviews of the Victoria Hotel, my stay was approached with a little bit of apprehension - I need not have worried. The hotel was well maintained and spotlessly clean. Really enjoyed the island - spent our time walking and exploring. A totally different pace of life - everyone very friendly and relaxed. Victoria Hotel was a great find - good location on Victoria Street, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast too. more
Stayed there over Christmas. Had known the hotel under previous ownership and had been very impressed. Sadly hotel now has a very neglected feel to it - bit like a rather run down guesthouse. Had breakfast on the first morning but so bad that I couldn't face it again. Bedroom not cleaned or sheets changed during our 5 day stay. more
