My son kept his wedding reception there. It was fantastic, all friends back home were very impressed and so were we. Rooms clean and tidy, ok not the Ritz but staff very welcoming. Few minutes walk into town, bit longer back (its uphill). Plenty of parking. Great week

A terrific place - we stayed as part of a large group for four nights, and had consistently superb food and unbeatable service from all the staff. You can't improve on the views either, and the grounds are extensive and beautifully kept.

Keep it secret. This has got to be the best quality food for the price on the Island. Oh and they throw in a wonderful view free of charge. I'd recommend this establishment as a very pleasant alternative to the usual hotel experience. Ask for a seaview room and, if travelling alone, see if you can move up to a double as the single rooms are small. The one disappointment was the slightly surly & grudging service experienced in the attached coffee shop. Otherwise well worth considering.

Wonderful location on hill-top overlooking St Peter Port and the sea. Exceptional views. In the middle of a park and in large grounds so couldn't be nicer! as guernsey person i went to les cotils with my daughter on retreat for 2 nights hotel was lovely never stayed before was really wonderful and peaceful staff where very helpful food was magnifecent even the reception staff where very helpful especially jane and other girl dont know name think she is new nothing to much trouble thanks cotils
