The hotel looks lovely on the website and is actually quite pricey when you realise what you get! The location is very good if you want to be near the station, the windows are single glazed, our room was on the road and the traffic was very noisy all night. The bedding was made of some kind of nice polyester... more

The big pluses were the breakfast, the large rooms, and the close location to the rail station. The biggest negative is that the bathroom is quite small. It's just a little larger than an airplane bathroom. But if you can deal with that, it is a great hotel for the cost. more

I'd like to start off by saying that we never got to stay at the hotel due to the must unprofessional people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I made a booking for 20 people for a 2 night stay and dealt directly with a guy named Sal. He took my details and gave me the price.... more

The hotel is clean & nice, seems to have more rooms than other B&B. Rooms are big compared to many B&Bs I've seen but the shower/WC/sink are in a closet so small you can use all 3 simultaneously. Other than this, service is very good, breakfast is also good & included, location is on B&B street between station and town. more

I stayed for one night in a single occupancy (but a double) room. I had breakfast which was included when I booked the next morning. The room was very comfy, quiet with a nice bed and clean shower / toilet. The location of the hotel is very near the train station although in the slightly less attractive part of the... more

The friendly service I received on the phone when booking my room set the scene for my stay at Lloyds of Chester. Within 5 minutes of stepping off the train at Chester I had arrived at the hotel (despite this convenient location there was no noise issues) As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by the... more

We wanted an inexpensive hotel for a weekend away in Chester, and found this place on Laterooms. It sounded fine at £70 per night, so rang them direct and booked it. On arriving by train, we were happy to find that the hotel was only 5 minutes walk away. The manager couldn't have been more cheerful and friendly, and soon... more

Recently returned from spending 2 nights at Lloyds, Very quiet, think me & my partner were the only people staying here! Never saw another guest! Parking is minimal but we got a space for our entire stay so can't really complain. The rooms were of a good standard but the bathrooms were awful I have seen bigger wardrobes NO room... more

we paid to stay at this hotel after ensuring that we could park our car and had en-suite facilities. The car park itself is non existent, we went into town and when we returned we went into the room and discovered a bathroom where you can sit on the loo, brush your teeth, shower AND still have your feet in... more

Staff friendly and room was clean, but single glazed and very noisy. No room service or evening food (both advertised on the website). Bathroom miniscule and really not suitable for children. Decor is tatty in public areas above ground floor. Parking is in a small rear yard which holds 4 cars max!Essentially an over priced B&B more
