Really disappointed with this hotel. Whole place looks very dated & tired. You get the feel that it is extension upon extension when trying to locate your room. TV in room must be one of the oldest I have seen in a hotel recently & being so low to the floor you were unable to watch it comfortably from bed.... more

I stayed with my teenage daughter while we visited Cheshire Oaks outlet. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was very well laid out, plenty of room and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa facilities were booked up completely, so if you want any of the treatments it is best to book in advance.... more

Having stayed in a number of Macdonald hotels I was very disappointed when we stayed for a 3 day break at Craxton Wood. The hotel decor was a little tired and the service was abysmal. The girl on reception did not speak good English and could not really help when we asked about the facilities and the kid’s dinner menu.... more
