We found the location of the hotel really good, especially if you were planning a trip to the races! Park and ride 2 minutes away, £1.70 return and 5mins from the town. Taxis were only £5 into town at night. Didn't eat in the hotel as grudged paying £9 for tea and toast as thats all we eat at breakfast.... more

We read the many negatives reviews after booking the hotel so were not sure what to expect. Our room was clean and spacious and met our requirements for a one night stay. The pool was a bonus and the staff were very friendly. We're hoping to see more of Chester and would certainly return to this hotel. more

My wife and i both thought the hotel was good value. We stayed two nights b+b with a bottle of wine included in the offer. The room, bed and bed linnen were clean and a good size and comfortable.
