Stayed here last night with friends. We'd booked accommodation elsewhere in Cornwall for the first two nights of our three-night stay, and decided to "wing it" for our last night. So pleased that two lovely rooms were available when we knocked their door, and at £55 per room with breakfast included. Good value for money.
We were handed keys to room 3, which was spacious and could easily accomodate a family, with double bed and bunk beds.
It was tastefully decorated with quirky features fitting with the "observatory" theme ...the house was used in the late nineteenth century as an observatory to the stars, and apparently has a reinforced roof which housed a telescope, which is now located at Kew Gardens.
Was impressed to find a full-sized 32 in flat-screen TV with all digital channels in the room, and a lovely bathroom with spacious walk-in shower.
