We had two nights at the hotel which we really enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great and it is set in beautiul grounds. The room was clean with Tv, coffee etc and the bed was comfortable. It is an old manor so do not expect modern decor etc but for the money it is well... more

Got poor vibes as we arrived. Signage and overall outside appearance in need of a makeover and repaint at least. Inside was rather better, but overall dated. We paid £185 per night DBB for a luxury room. I pity those having a lesser room. Having waited in reception for a good 5 minutes, ringing the bell several times, eventually someone... more

The Good - Fantstic location, lovely gardens and views, comfortable room the Bad - room wasn't ready at stated check in time (300 mile journey with young kids) had to wait 45 mins, this is £170 a night we're talking here, only one single bed in the 'twin room' for our children, they had to move furniture around to accomodate... more

After staying at the Penmorvah Manor at the weekend for a 40th birthday, I feel I must write a review. Many people in the group commented that the hotel reminded them of Fawlty Towers. After arriving around 3pm and being shown to our rooms, we soon realised that the decor was unchanged from the 1980's and the bed was hard... more

Our booking was for 4 adults in 2 rooms for 3 nights. On arrival we were checked-in by the owner but received no welcome or greeting! Although we were asked if newspapers were required and we completed that section on the form, only one newspaper was allotted to one room on two mornings only - and had to be collected... more

We stayed at Penmorvah Manor for 2 nights, in a room costing 130 pounds /night , reduced to 120 for 2 nights. We have been in this business and have now retired. Great location, fine building, but showing all the signs of a business in decline. At peak season we had our choice of rooms without booking. Fine views. Room... more

My partner and I got married at the Penmorvah Manor Hotel in July 07. We viewed many hotels in and around Falmouth and I was over the moon when we found Penmorvah. We picked Penmorvah due to its fantastic grounds and lovely reception room. In the run up to our big day the staff were very helpful in helping us... more
