I have not really done the B&B thing since a child, but Down Ende was a very good place to start again. A very warm welcome started with the lovely dog mistaking my car for the postman - the dog is a big softie - and was soon followed by a much appreciated cup of tea in the garden.

The house has a warm friendly feeling and you are very well looked after without being intrusive. Lots of good ideas are provided for places to visit dependent on the weather. Room was not too big, but was very clean and well maintained.

Very nice breakfasts in the conservatory are a great way to start the day.

The only negative was that the room was rather cramped with little storage space (a small wardrobe and only three drawers - the Gideon Bible and hair-dryer had to be moved to make room for our socks, etc. The property is in a quiet location a few miles from Looe with its good restaurants, beach and walks... more
