My wife and I stayed at Polgover farm for 3 nights during the may bank holiday weekend and we found it to be the perfect place for us to relax over the weekend.

The farm house is run by Mrs Lynda Wills who made us feel very welcome the whole stay. When we arrived Lynda greeted us at the front of the house, showed us where to park and sat us down in the Garden with a full crème tea of home made strawberry jam, clotted crème, scones and tea.

Our room was clean, comfortable and held beautiful views out across the fields with the moors laid out on the horizon. The house itself is a beautiful 16th century farmhouse, so if you want an English farmhouse experience you cannot get closer then this. We found it to be a great base to have for trips out to the Eden Project and other locations such as Polperro and Tintagle etc with nearby Looe fishing village for meals in the evening.
