Once again a thoroughly enjoyable stay at anchor lights. A spotlessly clean boutique style BnB with great views of the harbour situated perfectly for both east and west looe. Its the little personal touches which make anchor lights special and Jocelyn and Derek do it perfectly. We stayed in the culliver room and would highly reccommend it. Try it, trust... More

We stayed in the beautiful Pengelly room for one precious night away on our own. Everything was perfect. A beautiful spotlessly clean room, extremely comfortable bed, lovely bedding (always important!) and a fantastic view over the river. The breakfast was delicious and served in a friendly atmosphere. Certainly a cut above your average BB accommodation. More

We have stayed at Anchor Lights on several occassion over the past couple of years, and have just returned after staying in Colliver Room for the new year. Having stayed in many B&B`s/Guest houses over the years, this is without doubt the best one we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean, rooms are very well appointed with lots of nice touches,... More

Our second stay at Anchor Lights this year in Fletcher room. Excellent sums up the room, the atmosphere, the view, the food..... Jocelyn and Derek provide a friendly, top notch service. The best endorsement for Anchor Lights is that we will definately be returning for a third stay as a base for exploring new and old ground in Cornwall. More

My wife and I booked to stay at Anchor Lights for our wedding anniversary staying for 4 nights in October. Our room was Flynn on the top floor overlooking the river with a separate bathroom for our sole use. We had a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, fridge, kettle and TV. Jocelyn and Derek were great hosts, nothing was... More

Just returned from a 3 night for the price of 2 stay at Anchor Lights. Accommodation was tasteful and very comfortable. Hosts were a delightful couple. Breakfasts were divine - especially the smoked haddock. More

As generally nervous B&B guests we loved the relaxing, clean, friendly experience created by Jocelyn & Derek. It's a perfect setting and the Pengelly room has a stunning view of the estuary and port. It has it's own private bathroom the other side of the landing - no bumping into other guest issues, which we were a bit nervous about.... More

we were 5 days in LOOE, we were lucky with the weather, and even LUCKIER staying at ANCHOR LIGHTS.....we chose our room on-line...which came up and beyond our expectations, and all the extras in the bathroom, plus towelled dressing gowns were the equivalent of a 5-star hotel.....and the hosts treated us like friends they were looking forward to seeing..... breakfast... Stayed here for two nights on 4th November to use as a base for wedding venue hunting. It was first class and can't fault it. From the chilled water and fresh milk in the fridge in the room to the fluffy bathrobes. We stayed in Pengelly and enjoyed a glass of wine over looking the harbour before heading out to... More
