The wife and I decided last minute (and I mean last minute 6.00pm the night before) to pop down to Cornwall for a couple of days, lucky as we are to live in Devon, and lucky is what we were booking a night at the Jubilee. Its a proper pub, real ale, a very decent menu sensibly priced and great... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay at the jubilee inn. It was the perfect base for visiting many attractions of Cornwall. The jubilee inn is a very comfortable hotel with lots of character and the food was of a very high standard. What really completed our experience was the warmth shown to us by Carole and Charlie and their... More

The Jubilee Inn is a Cornish Jewel, an oasis of first class accommodation and cuisine. Although the inn was built circa 17th century it has been tastefully restored and the building has a delightful character of its own. What sets it apart from other Inns is the genuine warmth of the proprietors Charlie and Carole. Nothing is too much trouble... More

This is a lovely traditional Inn with a very warm welcome. On arrival we were told that we had been "upgraded" to a large double, which turned out to be the bridal suite, with 4 poster bed and beams in the room. On the way up to our room ALL the fire exits were pointed out to us excellent. Both... More

This was a 'Red letter' gift from our daughter and grandchildren. It was a perfect weekend. Excellent traditional pub, good food & PROPER real ale! real log fires. Charlie a larger than life, character landlord in a character pub. Loved it. Jean & Colin Main. Much better than soulless chain hotels.

Stayed for 3 nights with my daughter - friendly staff catered for our fussy needs. Food portions massive so beware there! Our twin room was very comfortable and airy with a massive bathroom and my 9-year old can't wait to go back! Well stocked shop, cash machine and post-office nearby. When the staff make an effort to learn your name... More

My husband I got married on the 23rd of March, we had our reception here and it was brilliant! Charlie and Carole made planning our day so helpful, we live in cardiff so a lot of planning was done by email and over the phone. We wanted a small get together, with a vintage feel, the inn is perfect for... More

We found the Jubilee Inn on the Dog Friendly Pubs website. From the moment we walked through the door we were really taken with the warmth and friendliness of the pub. We had a lovely room with lots of character with plenty of space to cater for our dog. The food was excellent, as was the atmosphere. Charlie and Carol... More

Charlie and Carole are the most welcoming landlord and land lady we have met in a long time. They run a most welcoming , beautiful traditional old village pub, with log inglenook fire, and excellent accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble from the booking service, to welcoming us in late on a Sunday evening, and providing excellent bar snack food... More

Friendly pub with a good choice on the menu, including some good veggie options which have been given a bit more thought than the usual offerings. I had three bean smoked chilli which was just right in terms of spiciness, and hubby had his old favourite of ham eggs and chips, which he gave 7/10. We are staying nearby for... More
