Having read the previous comments I was a bit dubious about staying at The Gulls, however after staying there I was thoroughly impressed. Firstly, you have to be fit to carry any heavy luggage from wherever you're lucky enough to park, way down on the busy Hannafore Road, and you have to walk on the road (no pavement) for a little, before navigating a long slope uphill to the hotel. The location of the Gulls is excellant, although parking is some distance away. Our room was very clean but quite small with only room for one bedside table. The staff were all friendly. We stayed in DRAKE room for 4 days and the room was well decorated. The room had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable.
