We stayed in the room at the front of the house (room 2) - and what a treat the view is! We could easily have wiled away the whole weekend inside, as the room was very well equipped with tea/coffee and biscuits. (There is too much to do around Looe though, so we didn't!). A very warm welcome with fresh... More

What a jewel! Brilliant view from bedroom - lovely room with nice ensuite. Bill and Sue very relaxed and friendly which really makes this much more like a hotel (or a pension perhaps) than just another B & B. Really you're staying in someone's home - rather than just another business. Can I bring my bike - no problem! Can... More

Cornwall tick, Looe tick, Ambleside tick. Nice people, great clean room with decent bathroom facilities, really comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. All that and a fab view over surely one of the prettiest vistas in England. Looe is a great place to go out for a few drinks and some ace places to eat. There is no question, it... More

We stayed here over Easter and really enjoyed it. We had a lovely spacious clean room at the front of the house with a great view over Looe. The property is on the top of a large hill so, as other reviewers have commented, access isn't easy if you are heavily laden with bags, or unfit! We didn't know there... More

We stayed for a long weekend in July 2011. After parking in the main car park we took a walk first to find Ambleside. After finding the B&B I decided to drive up and drop the bags off. Although it is suggested not to drive up in a large car, I took my 4x4 toyata rav up. Tight but possible... More

A real home from home. We were well looked after and had a superb breakfast that set us up for the day. The B&B was clean and tidy and the owners were more than happy to help us all our needs. Sue and Bill really looked after us and also our young son !! will be going back again soon!!
