Firstly, this campsite is not in Newquay, it is on a barren hill several miles away. The 'facilities' are extras, you have to pay for showers, clothes washing and the rusty minibus into town. The pictures on the website are misleading, the only arcade machines are a broken star wars one and one I've blocked out of my memory it... more

I would strongly reccommend to anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. Where do I start?? If you are in a same sex group, do not expect to be camping with the opposite sex. Men are placed in the bottom field, mixed groups in the middle and girls in the top field. The showers are rank and charged at 20p... more

My friends and I have camp here twice already this year and the actual campsite is awesome. Some people moan about the shower and old toilet basin but hey, it is a campsite, not a hotel!!! The shop is Fab, its got everything you need in case you've forgotten any essential camping stuff. Morrison's is just down the road too.... more

When I booked this campsite I was a bit worried because of some of the reveiws on here but I got to say it is a great campsite to stay at. The receptionist was a bit grumpy when we arrived but the guy who showed us where to pitch and the shop bar staff etc were all really great and... more

Some of the reviews on here got me quite worried about Rosecliston but after spending a week there, most of them couldn't be more wrong! What some of the reviewers obviously forgot was that this is a campsite and not a hotel! I found the staff friendly and helpful, including when our tent flooded on our second morning! The taxi... more

Well what can we say.... The staff are rude, we arrived to be told that we have taken two foot more than we are allowed which had no marks clear, when we offered to pay for the extra pitch so we could fit our two tents in we where rudely told "we dont want your money!" The staff member must... more

Having been to Newquay twice before, I knew what to expect. The kids that look about 12 getting drunk, amazing but crazy nightlife and passed out people in the streets, but that's what newquay is all about! When I'd gone down before the first time I stayed in a surf lodge and the second in a house of apartments. Camping... more

We have stayed on campsites before - but this is the worst. Faeces on the walls in the toilets, disgusting showers - 20p for 3 mins, horrible old sinks - no soap or dryers - a haven for catching D + V. Overnight noise - shouting, cars and loud music until 6am. Yes we knew that the site is aimed... more

a fantastic place to stay! but to truley enjoy the site, and newquay, you have to be up for a laugh and a joke. if your looking to relax and get away from it, then the rosecliston and i would say newquay is not for you. i found the sites location very good, it is walkable to get to the... more

Rosecliston was a nice stay for us 4 16yr old girls, coming to newquay for the typical holiday. Got there, got an induction, was left to pitch our tent in a pre-chosen not fantastic site but the guys working there were willing to help if needed. Toilets aren't great but to be honest beggars can't be choosers! they are cleaned... more
