Lovely John bless him tried his best. The room was dirty, overpowering smell of bleach, overpowering smell of sewage on middle floor, toilet seat fell off, fan thick full of dirt, drawers full of hair, very dirty smelly toilet and toilet brush. shower kept going hot n cold. thick dust behind bunk beds. someones old pants found behind bunkbeds. dirty glasses when given drinks from bar ( more than once). smelly pillows. off milk one day at breakfast.....the list goes on. i'm not the only one who feels this hotel has gone down hill as most reviews are good for this place. good points are... the bed was really comfy. the breakfast on the last day was hot and less greasy than all the others but thats cause someone trained in france cooked it i was told. nothing wrong with Newquay as a place, the location was great this hotel just needs the TLC back that i think it once had but is now lacking. sorry but it had to be said more
