The Tregarthen B&B is an ideal location for your stay in Newquay,in fact anywhere you may want to go in the Town, including the beaches are within a 30 min walk.It has private off road car parking, and that in itself is a bonus these days. The welcome we received on arrival was great,Julie puts you at ease and is a mine... More

After arriving like 2 drowned rats (riding through a huge storm on Bodmin), we were made to feel instantly welcome by Julie. We were shown to our room, and quickly and efficiently checked in. And what a room! With its own access door, it was more like a boutique hotel than a B and B. Immaculately clean and spotless, beautifully... More

Booked on the strength of Trip Advisor reviews, which when they are consistently glowing can sometimes lead to disappointment. Not the case here though; in order of discovery: Excellent off road parking. A warm welcome. A comfortable room with our own direct outside access, excellent shower, flat screen Freeview TV and all the now expected comforts (tea, coffee etc) as... More

We stay at Tregarthen regulary over the New Year period and wouldn't stay anywhere else, Julie and Jim are the perfect hosts who have always looked after us, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Offroad parking is a bonus and its only a brisk ten minute walk into Newquay. Perfect in every way

We've stayed at Tregarthen several times, and we've always found Julie and Jim very welcoming, with nothing too much trouble for them. The place is always very nicely kept, with clean, nicely decorated and comfortable rooms. The beach is only a few moments' stroll away, and off-street parking is available.

From the day of booking to the day we checked out Julie has been a wonderful host! We were in Room 7 the garden room. The bed was so big & comfy, we slept so well, it was dark & quiet, we never heard a peep out of anyone! We had our own patio, private entrance & access to the... More

very very clean and tidy, great base from visiting Cornwall, both Jim and Julie are both warm and welcoming. Their information on places to visit and eat is spot on. Breakfast is one off the best I've had, nothing was to much for them.

An efficiently run business, providing excellent value for money with above average facilities in the letting rooms. Television with a good picture, DVD player, alarm clock with iPod docking station, free wi-fi, refrigerator, strongbox, etc, etc. Rooms 6 & 7 appear to be the best, located off the garden at the rear of the house and accessed via the side... Can't think of a bad thing to say about this place! Everything you would want out of a B&B, and more. About a 10min walk from Newquay, 3mins to the nearest beach (Lusty Glaze), and 25min walk to Fistral. Julie was an excellent host, very attentive and introduced everyone to each other and would remember what your plans for the... More
