a impressive looking hotel on the cliff tops of fistral beach, has the best location in newquay! Rooms are very clean and spacious, well worth getting a sea view. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Resturant was great and gets really busy. Just a short walk into the town, and lots of places to visit/ things to do within a... more

My husband booked the Headland after seeing the rather decieving hotel website. We paid £126 for one night! Which got us an internal room which had been recently decorated to a good standard. Although the room was ubearably hot all night even though cool outside, and all heating turned off. The communal areas of this hotel really need some attention... more

Stayed for a couple of nights ( 26 & 27 April ). The room ( 130 ) was spacious & clean and well equipped. The shower was particularly good - an overhead 'deluge' type in a spacious, walk-in cubicle. Only slight negative was the sound from the room above at 8.00 on Monday morning as the workmen started the refurbishment... more

And this review is purley my opinions from my stay there I stayed in the Headland hotel from March 7th until March 9th 2008 for a birthday. Stayed here for a weekend break over Easter. Lovely hotel, real family atmosphere, great food. The thing that stood out for me over and above anywhere I have ever stayed before was the customer services skills of every single staff member I had dealings with - they were exceptional - I would highly recommend this hotel more

We had a short weekend break in February and luckily the weather was great. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and for February the hotel was warm and welcoming. We took part in a murder mystery evening which was very well organised and enjoyable. The dining room is fantastic with panoramic views over the bay and across Fistral... more

We have just returned from our second visit to the self-catering cottages at the Headland Hotel - and are already planning our next stay. The cottages form a small village in the grounds of the hotel and are furnished and equipped to a very high standard allowing total independence from the hotel itself. However, guests are welcome to use all... more

My wife booked a night in the Headland as a Birthday present. She got a good price online and we stayed in a Classic room. The room was situated in one of the corner towers and was more like a small suite. Our bedroom had a 4 poster with views over the sea and Fistral. The weather was blowy so... more
