We were attend an event and have stayed before. The hotel is clean and tidy but, has a strange atmosphere. If, you are retired and want a quiet hotel this would be right for you. However, for us we felt uncomfortable and unwanted. The staff looked unhappy which fitters through to the guests. A beautfitul position with lovely sea views... More

Had a business trip to the Bristol Hotel at Newquay. Lovely hotel, nice clean sea facing room and super breakfast. All for £85. Room was nice and clean, lovely sea view and comfy bed. Breakfast was nice with a fresh plated piece of smoked haddock. All in all well recommended. Friendly and helpful staff too. Thanks. Mystic Milo

This is a very pleasant hotel with excellent, friendly staff and good food. I would give the hotel a 4 star rating based on the staff alone. The beds are very comfortable and we had fresh towels daily although we didn't need them. The breakfast was amazing and the view from the dining room spectacular. Shame the weather was not... More

My Wife and I have just spent a great weekend at the Bristol Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall. The service was first class, the food was excellent and the menu vast, nothing was too much trouble. This is not the first time we have stayed there and sometimes the second stay is nothing like the first, but I must say it... More

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at this Hotel. Everyone smiles and wishes you good morning, or as appropriate for the time of day. This run hotel is run by Howard Young the “hands on” Managing Director assisted by his wife and family. They provided us with a 3 course superb lunch for over 240 people and met... More

Thanks for posting your review. So pleased to hear that everything was first class. It was a challenge to make sure your lunch for 240 kept to time. The credit should really go to Pam (Head Chef) and Lukasz (Restaurant Manager) who ensured that their teams worked together to serve so many so quickly. We look forward to catering for... More

What a lovely family run hotel. They must choose the staff wisely, they are friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed for 3 nights over Easter visiting family nearby. They were warmly welcomed into the hotel bar too. Breakfast was really good, always hot. The dining room took you back to the 20's as you walked down... More

If you want to stay at a `plastic` hotel then stick with Travel lodge, etc. However if you want a friendly, clean, high standard of food and comfort then you will not go very wrong in selecting the Hotel Bristol. Most of the staff have been working here for years and actually have pride in where and how they work.... More
