“So rude on the phone in July, I never went”

I have just phoned the hotel and wanted to book two rooms for 1 night in September. The lady on the phone offered me the more expensive rooms but I said I had seen cheaper ones available on the internet. She said that they are horrible rooms but if I wanted them I would be more than welcome to have... more

We have just returned from a long weekend in Newquay, where we stayed at the Ravenbury hotel, which for the price we paid was exceptional. From first impressions to goodbyes all we can say is what an excellent choice. The en-suite room we were advised was "small but this was made up for in the views", but we were more... more

Booked this hotel by booking.com. After one week I got a cancellation - and was not amused. The hotel managament told the Reservation-Service I did a cancellation by E-Mail! But it was a pack of lies! They never got an E-Mail from me and of course they have not been able to present this E-Mail. After complains from booking.com they... more
