We arrived in the middle of the summer season to an empty hotel,and it did not take long to see why. Broken glass doors, dirty rooms and light fitings caked in last seasons dust .Our bath was very clean, however the tiles around it were all broken causing yet another danger.The swimming pool was a delight, (no water) just brambles.... more

On a windy weekend (just gone) we arrived wet and wind swept. The lovely owner put the whole group up at a moments notice. The rooms were cleaned and cleared in minutes and a nie hot shower or bath awaited. Yes this hotel is currnetly basic but the owners have big plans to start on 1st July when the smoking... more

We were due to fly from Newquay Airport with Ryanair who, at the very last minute, cancelled the flight. We were left stranded by this excuse for an airline but thankfully those lovely people at The Airways Hotel made a bad situation bearable. Just returned from a weekend break. The owners Andy and Michelle were very pleasant and have only just taken over the property. They have some great ideas for the property and I will be defiantly stopping there again. I look forward to seeing the changes. Steve Clements more
