We stayed in July 2009 for 2 nights. The meal on the first night was not cooked properly - my wife ordered a breaded seafood dish which was still cold in the middle, and I had the "rib eye" steak (cooked medium), which was more like a poor rump steak but very overcooked. The only...one and only...thing this place has going for it is its location. The Riv which used to be further up the hill was quality until it closed. Sadly, this is now the only pub near the beach in Mawgan Porth...and it sucks. Bring back the Riv. more
