Me and my gf stayed here recently for 4 nights. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Breakfast was cooked every morning and was excellent quality. We stayed in the room with a balcony, the view was amazing, the room clean and well presented, couldn't have asked for a better place. Would definitely book again.

We had to visit Newquay at Easter to meet with family so I picked out the Windward from Agoda and it was as described...friendly and helpful owner and staff, fantastic location overlooking Porth beach. The rooms were very clean, well equipped and warm. We even had an "Easter Card" personally signed in our room on arrival. Sue the owner was... More

We arrived unannounced and was greeted by the owner of 'Windward' Sue. Helpful & attentive in all regards we were shown to our room with balcony overlooking Porth Bay. This room had only just been renovated and other rooms, have been or are being done in time for Easter holidays. Our breakfasts were 1st class with local ingredients currently used.... More

Just returned from a weekend at The Windward. Our room had recently been decorated so it was clean, fresh and perfectly laid out. The views from out balcony were fantastic. Sue the owner was very attentive with a 'no problem' approach. When I arrived Sue and along with Nathan were their to greet me. A lovely welcome. Nathan is an... More

My stay at the Windward Hotel this September was a breath of fresh air, literally. It is overlooking the bay and right by the rugged cliffs of Cornwall. There are fantastic walks and only 20-25 minutes brisk walk into Newquay town centre. At the Windward you have the peace and calmness away from the town itself but only a short... More

Booked the hotel for two nights for my Mom. She loved the room, location and the friendliness of the staff. She loved the breakfast - food and the views were great. Will book her in there again when she comes down for another visit. Thanks for looking after her.

I've stayed here twice, once in 2007 and in mid-August 2012. The location, a short walk from Porth Beach with easy access to the pleasant headland walk, is excellent. The glorious seaview from the terrace is best enjoyed with a glass of wine. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a welcome hospitality tray. Sue and her staff could not... More

We stayed in the week before run to the sun. Whilst the weather wasn't amazing, the hotel was excellent and we really were looked after by Sue & Nathan. Any request was easily accommodated and responded to quickly. Its a great location with Porth Beach within minutes and Newquay town centre a 15 minute walk. We're definitely planning to return.
