The Trethorne hotel has just changed it's name to the "Blue Sky Lodge, Newquay", possibly in an attempt to move itself away from the bad reviews it's had. Stayed at the Trethorne for my brother in laws stag weekend and all I can say is what a dump. Took at least half an hour to check in and were told we had to pay £30 each bond, when booking out (took 1 hour) they seemed relunctant to give it back. The rooms smelt, beds were dirty (one was... more

Bedding towels very clean.Decor newly done.Food quite good.Staff friendly and pleasant. 2 evenings entertainment quite good and enjoyable. Negatives A long walk from the seafront.
